Stop Paying to Be Found. Your Zenvents Listing Is Free, for Good.
Every year the same thing happens. The marketplace you list on raises the price, adds a premium tier, and the businesses that pay more float to the top. You either pay up or watch your inquiries thin out. As of today, there's a place to be listed that doesn't work that way, and it costs nothing.
Why now
This week Zola announced it is joining The Knot Worldwide. Plenty of acquisitions go fine, and I'm not here to predict this one. But it does mean one fewer independent place for couples to find the people who make their day happen, and fewer places usually means the remaining ones can charge more for the same visibility.
I've been working events for 30 years. I built Zenvents360 to run my own business, and zenvents.com is the directory that comes with it. So I made a decision: any event business can list on zenvents.com for free, for good. Zenvents is independently run, with no private equity behind it, and I intend to keep it that way.
What you get for free
Photographers, planners, caterers, florists, venues, AV and lighting crews, photo booths, officiants, DJs, multi-service companies: if you work events, the listing is for you. It includes:
- Your profile: your name, logo, tagline and the story of your business.
- Your photos: a gallery you arrange yourself, with the cover image you choose.
- Your services and the area you cover: a travel radius, or the markets you work.
- An inquiry form on your listing. When a client sends one, it goes straight to your email.
No card, no paid ranking. The directory shows businesses in a fresh random order on every visit, weighted by distance. Nobody can pay to sit above you, including the businesses on our paid plans.
Signing up takes one choice
Create an account and pick Free listing when the form asks how you'd like to start. The Setup Guide then walks you through the six steps the listing needs: your profile, your company, your business type, your social links, your regional settings and the listing itself. When it's ready, publish it.

The rest of the platform is there when you want it
On the free listing, your listing and your business details stay fully editable. Everything else in Zenvents360 (leads, proposals, contracts, payments, automations, the client portal) is visible but locked, so you can look around before you decide anything.
When you're ready, start your 30-day trial from the dashboard. It's the full platform, your listing comes with it, and you start it on your schedule, not on the day you signed up.

What to know before you rely on it
- Your listing shows once you publish it. Nothing goes public until you switch it on.
- Inquiries come to your email, not into a pipeline. Tracking them as leads, sending proposals and taking payments are part of the trial and paid plans.
- zenvents.com is not a national lead platform. Don't cancel anything because of this post. List here too, count the bookings each source brings you over a season, then decide.
